This next video is the first video project that I worked on! It is a short documentary I made for my FMS 275 class (Basic Video Production) my freshman year at KU (Spring 2021).
A long family companion passed away on January 18, 2021. Nikki was the pet who’s been with my family the longest, for almost 12 years she stood by our side, but her life just came short due to sickness. She was born June 30, 2009. We loved Nikki, and we still do. She’s taught us so much, but most importantly, she was one of the greatest friends anyone could have asked for.
The next video is from my Media Writing for Audiences Class (JMC 304).
This video is about the Chiefs’ win over the Eagles in Super Bowl 57, and my perspective at the University of Kansas.
The next three videos are sports debates that I have done with Media Crossroads at KU. The debates are from a student run show called Take a Side, a sports debate show.
This video was uploaded on February 22, 2023, near the start of the new XFL season. The debate is about whether or not the XFL is worth watching, and I (seated on the right) take the side that it is something worth watching.
This video is from Take a Side at KU, and was originally uploaded on February 8, 2023. I (seated on the left) take the side that the Chiefs would win the Super Bowl and present my argument.
This video was originally recorded on October 7, 2022. Kara Lyons and I debate what’s better for KU: Winning the NCAA Tournament Back to Back or winning the CFP! I argue for winning back to back!
The next four videos are from my JMC 211 class (Tech Tool: Audio and Visual) displaying different Adobe Premiere Pro video editing skills.
This video showcases the use of splitscreen and picture in picture techniques in video editing.
This video showcases slow motion, fast motion, and reverse video editing.
This video showcases the practice of keyframing still images. The keyframing and cuts of the images are synced to the song “Here Comes the Boom” by Nelly.
This video showcases the practice of keyframing and editing to the beat of the music.
